The service

Tabatizer is a workout timer app at tabatizer.com, provided by Golf Consult AS (org. no. 922 561 095), a company registered in Norway. The core Tabata timer is free. Premium features — additional workout formats, building, saving and sharing your own workouts, and synced history with statistics — require a paid plan.

Your account

You sign in with your email address using one-time codes. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in as you. You must provide a working email address to use account features.

Usernames and shared workouts

Sharing a workout creates a public link showing the workout together with your username, to anyone who opens it. Choose a username you have the right to use — no impersonation, and nothing offensive or misleading. You keep ownership of the workouts you create; by sharing one you allow us to host it and display it to anyone with the link. We may remove shared workouts or usernames that violate these terms.

Purchases, renewals and refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record; your purchase contract for payment processing is with them, and their terms apply alongside these. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel any time and Premium remains active until the end of the paid period. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase for the lifetime of the service. Any charge can be refunded in full within 14 days of the transaction date — see the Refund Policy. Refunds are handled through Paddle; contact us and we will help.

Health disclaimer

Exercise involves risk of injury. Tabatizer provides timing and workout suggestions only — it is not medical advice, and no exercise demonstration or generated session is a substitute for professional guidance. Consult a physician before starting high-intensity training, stop if you feel pain or dizziness, and train within your own limits. You use the app entirely at your own risk.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, to access other users' data, to resell access, or to circumvent payment. We may suspend accounts that do.

The service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Tabatizer available and correct, but it is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may change features and prices going forward; price changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period, and material changes to these terms will be noted here with a new date. If you keep using the service after a change, the updated terms apply. If we ever discontinue the service, active subscriptions will not renew, and we will give reasonable notice.

Termination

You can stop using Tabatizer or delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for deletion). We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
